Cowboy Jack’s is always the perfect place for lunch or dinner. The food is always reliable and spot on. The atmosphere is fun in an old west motif. I had the sirloin, it was cooked perfectly. The burger options are many, and always cooked to perfection. The service is always attentive. The best part is the location, it is sitting right on a biking/hiking trail. Right along the river. So the views are amazing, and you can go right to the trail from there. If you’re looking for an outdoor patio area, this spot is perfect. Great views of the river while enjoying the food and weather.
Finally, I was able to get here! What to say about it... Well, it was a Saturday evening around 5ish, so we knew it would be busy, and it was. Parking was rough, but we're able to sneak in a close spot. 1. Very big, open, clean. Loved the look and setup. 2. We were sat with about a 4 minute wait. Nice. 3. I knew our waitress was swamped, but she greeted right away and got our drinks taken care of instantly. Awesome. She was so pleasant and kind, even with the dinner rush happening. Brought us our drinks and got orders taken and put them in right away. 4. Got our food super quick! And the food was amazing! I wanted to try something I never get to have anywhere else, so I got the Korean burger. Omg. So good. Everyone else's food was most excellent as well. They got steaks, burgers, and chicken tenders. All good. One thing I can say is didn't like was that the seafood pasta was only a Valentines Day item and not an all-time item! I digress. 5. Bill was given in a timely manner and everything was sorted correctly to each family. I really wish I remembered out waitress name because we had with us a 4 year old and she interacted very well with her even though the 4 year old kept getting in her way accidently (partially my fault). I WILL be stopping in again next time I'm in Eau Claire!
I had the pleasure of being served by Danielle, and she was absolutely fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch. Her recommendations were spot on, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. If you’re visiting, definitely ask for Danielle—you won’t be disappointed! The food was 2 die 4. The breadstick combo consisting of 8 bread sticks was awesome! Love this place and the atmosphere. Will be back!
We walked into a packed house, but staff was all smiling and good arrived quickly. Ordered a burger, steak salad, and the cherry cheesecake... all are very good. But the cheesecake stole the show, the best I've ever had. Rebekah was our server and she was fantastic! Try the winter cocktails!
What a lovely spot! I stopped during a work trip and got to sit out on the balcony overlooking the river. It was calm and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we both enjoyed our meals. I like that they have a cauliflower bowl for those of us in life that do low carb or keto to have to at as an option is nice!
Great atmosphere! We rolled up to dog friendly restaurant!! That was a big plus for us. We were traveling from Duluth for the Marathon. We sat out side on their upper patio. They had these great fabric sun pergolas. We had a table of four. No cold beer this time, had to drive to home. We ordered our appetizer. The fried cauliflower was epic!! We ordered our lunches. I had the blacken burger with fries. My wife had the veggie wrap. They made it vegan. Especially a very accommodating for dogs. They had a dog park in the backyard.
Rebekah was a tremendous influence. She engaged, encouraged and inspired my day. I will remember to request her the next time I visit!
Cool place for a small or large gathering. We had a group of 8 and they easily accommodated us in one of the outdoor dining areas. The menu has a lot of great options. I went during happy hour, so many of the appetizers were half price. There are outdoor fireplaces and good views. I would highly recommend!
